how do you bypass macrovision on telewest?

Thought I would be a smart-ass the other night and tried to record coach carter
from filmflex on telewest, but when the film started and I pressed record the
dvd-recorder flashed a message onscreen saying "Macrovision copy protection,
unable to record" then just stopped recording. There must be a way to bypass
the MV, anyone know how???

You'll probably have to use an inline filter - if your cable box has audio/video out it should be easy.

Cheers for the reply. It does have a/v out so I will try this, probably wont be till
after the new year now though.

Completely forgot about this thread, and the problem in question! Anyway's, I think I have found something to remove the macvision just want a bit of advice before I part with any £'s.
