Hi together.

I've a little problem. I ripped a DVD and the ripped AC3 showed my a delay of -276ms. How can I add the -276ms of the converted AAC add to my MP4 with Yamb?

Any feedback would be great. Thank you very much!

why didn't you correct the delay when encoding AC3 to AAC?
Tools like the besweet gui, belight or even megui automatically compensate for the delay when encoding.

Well, I didn't tought about BeSweets power. ;-)
When the filename of the AC3 is "NAME T01 2_0ch 192Kbps DELAY -276ms.ac3" is the "Set delay to" Value also "-276"?

Thank you!

yes, but using the gui like besweetgui or belight this values is automatic parsed from file name

I've tested your arguments. BeLight does it, BeSweetGui doesn't.

Thanks for all your help!

when adding a file in yamb for muxing it opens a dialog which lets you set a "media delay"

note that not every mp4 player takes this into account, so its indeed better to fix the delay during audio encoding

BeSweetGui doesn't. it should iirc

moved to where it belongs
