How to set FirstPlay to Title 1, Chapter 2 ?

I want to set the FirstPlay pointer for a backup to Title 1, Chapter 2. I do NOT want to remove Chapter 1 in any way; I may want to access it later via the menus. Can't quite figure out how to make this happen, either with IFOedit or PGCedit. Any quick tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Use Pgcedit

Create a new dummy menu in the VTS domain (rightclick in the domain "new dummy pgc")
rightclick on the new dummy pgc - "set menu type" to an unused menu e.g. angle menu

mark the dummy menu and add a precommand "(JumpVTS_PTT) Jump to TTN 1, Chapter 2" (modify to your titlenumber)

go to the FP-PGC and add as last precommand "(JumpSS) Jump to VTSM 1, Angle menu (TTN 1)" (modify to your VTS- and titlenumber)

save the DVD

He means in the menu domain where your title is - VTSM. E.g the title is in VTS_01, then you create a new PGC in VTSM 1. Suppose your last VTSM 1, is 1, 43. Click on any GC in VTSM 1 and go PGC --> New dummy PGC - this will make VTSM 1, 44 (it will be empty of commands). This is where you put the command:

[30 05 00 02 00 01 00 00] 3 (JumpVTS_PTT) Jump to TTN 1, Chapter 2 (assuming the title is labelled TTN 1).

Now you need to label this new PGC (VTSM 1, 44) something - right click on it and Set Menu Type. Set it to a type that is not already defined for that VTSM. "Angle" is a good place to start, as it is often not defined.

In FP-PGC just follow bigotti5's suggestion: Make the first pre-command:

[30 06 00 01 01 86 00 00] 1 (JumpSS) Jump to VTSM 1, Angle menu (TTN 1) (assuming VTSM 1,44 is named as angle).

Test in a software player. Good luck.
