Option to choose main movie vts?

I have a movie, The Colt, which has extras that are larger than the main movie. Am I correct in assuming that if I blank the trailers, the bitrate gained will be used for the largest vts, in this case the extras? Is there a way I can change where the bits gained by blanking go? Or do I have to use RBopt, something I haven't used in a looong time.

Yes, you are correct... they would be applied to the largest VTS. I'd never seen a disc before that had a VTS larger than the movie itself... I'll see if I can come up with a way to force it to another one.

I jumped into the WAY BACK MACHINE for this one. Did you ever attempt to address this? I just ran into a disk like this (Masters of Horror:Imprint), where the extras VTS is bigger than the feature. I've been searching but haven't gound anything (could be my eyes all blurry and what not).
