I downloaded 1.05 this morning and ran the utility to download the new key. I keep getting "Could not connect to server" please try again later. I have been trying for about 6 hours now and still have been unsuccessful. I can surf and get email fine so my connectivity seems to be good.

Is the server that hands out the keys down?

Thanks.

No. But it appears that there is a small number of users (about 15 so far) who are blocked in one way or another from connecting somewhere between their computer and the server.

If anyone has a problem connecting --- send an e-mail to dvd-rb@dvd-rb.com immediately. The e-mail should include your SYSTEM ID and registered e-mail address. I will send you back a key for your system. I'll also record your SYSTEM ID so a key will be generated and available for download on the next version update. Unfortunately, I can't do that the first time around, as I don't have the SYSTEM ID.

The "mail if it doesn't work" information was included in "HELP" portion of the registration server, but I'm afraid I don't think I made it obvious enough.

Maybe include a message "Please click on help" in addition to "Could not connect to server". I honestly did not notice the Help in the lower right corner.

At any rate I did find out what was causing the problem. I was running my VPN client for work and the IP that was getting reported to the server must have been causing this. I shut doen the VPN client and tried again and immediately got the key.

Thanks jdobbs for the quick response.
