I have been using DVDdecrypter for a while now with no problems. I have the above listed programs as back-ups incase dvddecrypter doesn't work. I am backing up using 1-1 copies with DL discs. Now when I try to use the two programs listed in the title they both seem to burn a audio file and a seperate video file. not one single file to burn but two. What am I doing wrong. I want one single file that can be burnt to a double layer disc. 1 to 1 copy. nothing fancy. any help is appreciated.

You're not doing anything wrong. In addition to the "VIDEO_TS" folders that contain ALL of the DVD video and audio information (.IFOs, .BUPs, and .VOBs), the programs are creating empty "AUDIO_TS" folders (not "files"), which is actually standard compliant DVD format and procedure...

ok. so if I want to burn a 1 to 1 copy I using those programs I select the Video_ts file to burn.

It won't in any way hurt to include the "AUDIO_TS" folder as well. Actually, if you come across an ANCIENT standalone DVD player, it may REQUIRE that the DVD include an empty "AUDIO_TS" folder...

Here's a really simple way to do a 1:1 copy on DL media

BT-That's a nice, slick little guide. Thanks for the link, and thanks to Cynthia, too.

You're welcome ammck55. No need to worry about VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS - just a couple of clicks and you're there :)
