I realize that the channel Euronews (on ASTRA1, transponder 11817 V 27500), althouth not being encrypted, has the free_CA_mode flag set to 1 which according to the DVB-standard means that at least one stream is controlled by a CA system.
This is strange, since Euronews is FTA and none of it's stream is scrambled.
I wonder how FTA-receivers build their channel-list, if this flag is not a reliable source.
Can anyone give me a hint about this or point me to a good forum/newsgroup for such questions?
