14 GB DV video from my digital camcorder on my hard drive(NTFS) when I try to play it, first section(14mins) plays OK, sound of that rest (51mins) is abnormaly slow (it sounds like it was stretched to 74 mins) but I can get only audio from that file finishing at 1h05m(where the video is ending). I was trying to capture just audio, save it and shrink it 51per cent.It works fine, but I can't acces the rest. To have more problems, I couldn't save just video (Pinnacle9, Premiere7,Ulead, Virt Dub...everything is too short for my video. I did many home videos, It always works fine. But this one no (maybe caus is from lovely holiday) Please, if anybody knows what to do......Many thanks guys. :thanks:

jojinoxx,
It was difficult to understand your post. What program and version are you using to try to save your audio file? Is that the only thing you're trying to do? Just save the audio from a DV AVI? It looks like you're trying to save the video separately as well. Is this correct?

Many thanks 4 your interest...:-)
Actually I am trying to save just my audio, but the problem is that I can not access the audio track in AVI, because audio was stretched (somehow??) Now, I can play the video just on VLC player until end, but the audio track which I can hear sounds really slow and belongs to a frames in video 15min back. Basicly, when I play it, video and audio tracks are moved, and audio track stretched somehow behind video length. To capture it I've used Pinnacle 8 (like always) it was in full resolution (720x406) uncompressed Video and Audio(16bit).I am trying to save whole video, part by part....sorry 4 my english :-((
