Hi,

I just wondered about how much you can expect from the internal resizing done when using VMR9 renderless. I have an GeForce FX 5600 and an Athlon XP 3000+. So far on older versions Bicubic Resizing with PS2.0 always worked fine, however new versions produce a lagging video in fullscreen, Bicubic Resizing in whatever level did never work satisfying without the video stuttering around. Is this normal and should I expect more from my card?

Could it be that DirectX is damaged in some way, I noticed other things being odd, like Google Earth in DirectX mode lagging. Is there a way to repair it, or maybe is it just some software bug in the software? Could it be some driver tuning asking for too high quality rendering?

I think something was changed regarding the PS2.0 resizing in 6.4.8.6 or 6.4.8.7. Gabest acknowledged problems with it and a fix might be on its way in the next versions. Also, disable "Lock back-buffer before presenting" option in MPC. That option enabled leads to a high cpu usage with PS2.0 resizing.
