spruce up crashes windows on start up

hi, spruce up used work a week ago but now it goes nuts.
everytime i click to open spruce up it loads for a second and then my computer restarts and it says
"windows has recovered from a serious error"

wtf!!

anyone know what can be causing this?
alls i wanted to do is add chapters to a movie, i got the element streams for audio and video and know what time intervals i want for the chapters.
I was gonna use spruce to do it, unless theres an easier way.

sorry, can't help you with your spruce issues, however for the simple task of adding chapters, i would highly recommend muxman (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=93553&highlight=muxman)

chapters can be added using a simple frame list (eg ifoedit chapter list)

im using an avi file and converting it to a dvd, but i know the time periods for each chapter but dont know any other way off inserting them into ifoEdit, or using muxman.

Are chapter files simple? can someone do some sample code and i just replace the times with the ones i want?
