Multi Angles DVD.

Hi All

I am not really sure if it is the right place to post, anyway.... I have a series of DVDs I'd like to backup, all with the same structure.

They are Classic music concert. In the main title there are two pgcs, each one with two different simphony. Each PGC has different arrangment of the same simphony, they are stored in PGC as chapter and selectable via the Menu, and worth, the last chapter is composed of two angles with interleave.... Likely any single chpater has is vob id.... chapter 1 is vob id1 and so on...

I failed to back up those particular DVD with scenaid; DVD shrink and Clone DVD force me to cut some audio track (and the extras) to make it fit in a single DVDr; the free version of DVD rebuilder complain about the maximum allowed number of ILVU.... I am desperate... So I am looking for some alternative method.... but I dont really know any.... so please any suggestion? help?

You may wish to decide on an angle to keep and use IfoEdit to delete the unwanted angle.

Surprised that DVD Shrink did not accept it in full backup mode though. It handles multi-angles quite comfortably.

What about splitting the DVD in two parts? You can do it easily with VobBlanker.

Sorry, VobBlanker does not support multiangles.

Oh, yes, I forgot about that.
So, use IfoEdit's split DVD function...

What audiostreams are on the DVD? If you have LPCM, .AC3, and/or DTS, certainly you can choose amongst them, based on your playback system - and then use DVD Shrink to sufficiently reduce the filesize so that you CAN fit it to a single layer DVD-R.

If not, you might consider burning to a Verbatim D/L DVD+R...

Many thanks to all. I'll follow blutach suggestion, well I've already sucesfully backed - up one of those DVD, just stripping one angle, and without the need to do any other processing. That is the only solution make it fit on a single DVD5, because i want to keep all the audio trak, LPCM, AC3 e DTS, to improve the portability of those back up, at the end in a Classic concert music is what it is really important. After a better analysys of the content of the DVD I might admit, Shrink is right. The audio only is already about 2.5GB of the total avalaible space....
