weird timing

I'm trying to author a movie. Just quit TMPGEnc, as it doesn't support subtitles and switched to DVDLab. But in both of them there is some strange thing with the time. At the beginning there is 00:00:00, and just after that 01:00:01 and on, so the whole movie looks as if it was 1 hour longer. In TMPGEnc the program would freeze if I wanted to reach anything between 00:00:00 and 01:00:00 (but nothing was actually there, because all the content started with 01:00:00). DVDLab doesn't freeze, bu it still shows the strange timing.

When opening the m2v file, DVDLab warned me against open GOP - does it matter?
