I got this error message "data error-cyclic redundancy check" during the analyzation process and couldn't continue. Does anyone know what this mean?
Thanks

I'm guessing that you're using DVD Shrink.
A CRC error indicates that there's either a problem with the physical DVD (scratched, dirty, Peanut Butter and Jelly) - or "ARccOS" copy protection, that DVD Shrink cannot resolve. First, try cleaning the DVD.
What is the DVD title and Region?

Ya i am using dvd shrink. I think its the copy protection problem from what i can see as other people are having problem with this title also. the movie is stealth. region is canada/us.
i've been told to try using dvd decrypter first but it also gives me an "I/O error message" midway thru. it gives me the option of "abort, ignore, retry". if i ignore or abort it continues on and seems fine. Then i try to open it in dvd shrink to compress it to 4.7 gb, i get this error message "c:\temp dvd shrink\stealth\vts_01_1vob"

1) There have been references to poor pressing of some copies of this DVD. You might want to return yours to the place of purchase in exchange for a new replacement copy
2) You might want to try the "PGCEdit/PSL2 PlugIn" method
3) I personally successfully ripped, compressed, and backed up "Stealth" (for the same region as yours - which is, by the way, Region 1) using only DVD95Copy (NOT freeware)...

I think its the copy protection problem from what i can see as other people are having problem with this title also.If you've seen other people having problems with the same title, you could have:
1) used Search to look for answers per rule 1a, for example this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=102871), and
2) taken the time to title your thread to more accurately describe your problem, per rule 9.
