I'm working on a clip that has a dup frame pattern of that is close to decimate(7) but it's patterns overlaps, and has 2 sets of dup frames in the 7th group of 7frames.

If counting by 7's.. frame 6 and 7 are dups 6 times in a row , In the seventh group of seven, frames 4 and 5 are dups and frames 6 and7 are dups
then it's 6 sets of 4,5 dups followed by 2,3 dup and 4,5 dup
then 2,3 dups for 6 times etc.

1234566 1234566 1234566 1234566 1234566 1234566 1234466
1234467 1234467 1234467 1234467 1234467 1234467 1224467
1224567 1224567 1224567 1224567 1224567 1224567 7224567

I tried multidecimate and it doesn't catch the pattern very well.

It's in vcd so all progressive frames NTSC 29.97fps. I know it has been sped up and I'm trying to recover the proper speed. Original is NTSC Film

Thanks - My first post in the forum. I hope I asked this in a way that makes scence.

If you could figure out the exact speedup, you could try FDecimate().

If your pattern repeats after those 3 lines, selectevery(your 124 parms) should be able to do this as well.

I managed to get the interlaced mpeg2 version of this and figured figured out it was a pal to Ntsc conversion.. so just had to bob, repal and assumefps the mpeg2 version.

Thanks again for input
