Are there firmware updates for the sony DRU-810A that will stop halo glitches on burns? My burner has firmware version 1.0a
It make halos on about 5 of 25 burnt discs but same happened with my emachine burner tht i replaced
I Heard Ritek GFo5 are relable discs and so are maxells
but the maxells i purchased are id labled ritek g05
I have been using Sony discs ID labled as sony on my sony DRU-810A drive
and have been getting 4 of 25 coasters with halos on the dvd after burned where glitches in playback occur
Are Ritek g05 discs better performers then sonys ?
of the sonys that I burned without glitches all stiil work today about 1 year later
DO I NEED A BETTER BURNER?
