Convert RM, RMVB into AVI, XviD, DivX, MPEG, Ogg Tarkin

Hi , Please help me,
How can i convert RM(VB) video to other video format like AVI, XviD, DivX, MPEG, VOB, Ogg Tarkin / Theora ? Wanted to convert all rm into normal avi so it can be played very easily with Windows Media Player, or, with VLC, or with other independent/native codec supported media player with lowest resource usage in a offline older PC without Real Media Player installed . Is "Tinra" a good soft to convert RM video to other video format ?

Tinra wants Real Media Player, but i don't, so installed Real Alternative . And now its working & converting RM video to XviD MPEG-4 video . which lossless encoder encode the fastest ?

Tinra keeps on crashing at the last stage of 100% processing moment ! even after crash, created avi file remains, but failed to play those . takes about 1 hour for a 59 minutes long 98MB RM video (320x240, RealAudio COOK Mono 22KHz, RealVideo 3, 30fps, 192kbps) to be converted to 154MB XviD avi file (in a PC with P4-1.6GHz, 512MB RAM, Chipset(SiS 650GX, 962L)) .
any other free (possibly faster) soft ?
