Hi,
I encoded a full backup of The silence of the lambs (R2 pal) with DVD-RB 1.04 Pro and HC 0.16. The movie looks good and plays fine with Powerdvd but in my two standalones when i jump to chapter 24 the video stutters for a couple of seconds. If I rewind to previous chapter and play from there it plays smoothly. Dvdshrinked backup plays perfectly on both players.
I was just wondering what could cause this and if I should be worried about any compliancy issues? I guess it's nitpicking complaining about something like that since it doesn't show on normal playback.. but i just want it to be perfect ;)
According to Powerdvd the bitrate is about 7-8Mbps at the start of the scene, maybe it has something to do with it?
I'm pretty sure it's not a media issue, i've tried it on a couple of disks...
Settings: default except: hc best profile, vbr bias 30, AVAMAT6 matrix, converttoyuy2() and audiodub(blankclip()) unchecked, fluxsmootht() in filter editor
