I have a series of short clips that I'm going to join together in a single video file, and would like to know if it's possible to create a miniDVD that has that movie and a PhotoCD-style slideshow. Would DVDLab be able to author such a disc?

Hi,
a miniDVD is a DVD but just small enough to fit on a CD-R, so yes: DVD-lab can author that. Just make sure you stay under the limit of a CD-R.
It then depends on your burning software whether it supports burning a "DVD" to CD-R media (I dunno about the built-if burning abilities of DVD-lab). In
case it doesn't work: try PgcEdit's "burn feature", have it create an ISO-file from your miniDVD and burn that file with ImgBurn (or whatever app you have)
Have fun,

Thanks for the quick answer. What about the other question? Does DVDLab include PhotoCD-style slideshows in its DVD authoring capabilities?

DVD-lab pro has Slideshows.
Why don't you just check the Features list at their website? :-)
