I have DVD author and am trying to convert my 8 disc set of neon genesis evangellion to 4 discs (since each is 3 or 4 eps, i can save my 8 discs by only playing 4 dvdrs rather than ruin my box set.
when you start a new project, the first thing is to add a dvd video from hdd.
-i navigate to the dvd video_ts folder and it reads tracks 2 through 5, but not track 1 (1.5 hr movie - in this case 4 episodes).
first thing i tried was to create new bup and ifos using bupedit and ifoedit. but still the same thing occurs when putting into dvd author.
i tried reauthoring the disc with dvdshrink, and same result.
my friend i tried to reauthor it using nero recode, same result.
i even tried a simple dvd2one conversion, but no avail.
i won't try ulead b/ci know it doesn't handle dolby. (which shouldn't be a problem for tmpgenc b/c i've done this with other sets that have dolbe, and it works fine).
i'm thinking the problem might be in the ifo?, but when i compare it to other created ones, or even lines w/in itself, i can't figure out why it won't register just track 1.
