Hello everyone. Does anyone know some kind of software that could play .vp6 files off my hard disc? Or a .vp6 to mpeg or avi coverter?

Thanks for any help :)

Welcome to the Forum:

VP6 (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/VP6.htm) is a high-quality, low bitrate video compression codec that can be used as a plug-in within any video processing application that is capable of utilizing third party codecs. The codec is free for personal/non-commercial use.

Download and install the codec. Your software player/s should associate and then render your file. Be careful of the codec packs on that page, many times the installation of a codec pack can cause conflict--in case you're tempted. :)

Prior to initiating a more in-depth discussion of your vp6 file, do a read of the Forum Rules at the top of the page to make sure you're covered.

Did you try using TrueCast (http://on2.com/downloads/truecast-player/)?
