When I use R4R for ripping, the audio delay is determined and written into the ac3 file's name.

This is not the case when I use other apps for ripping. How can I determine the audio delay myself?

- The audio delay I'm talking about, if it is not clear, is the delay between the audio and video streams on a DVD :-P

And the other apps are SmartRipper 2.41 which seems to be resetting the delay on ac3's to 0, and VobEdit and I've also had a look on vStrip. It those apps I'd like to use, but I can't figure out where to get the delay info.

Smartripper does print the Delay info into the .ac3 file´s name.

Nope. In fact I probably just tested it on some vobs where the audio streams didn't have any delay.

I never found out how to determine the delay manually, but it doesn't matter much since I just stick to smartripper and DVDdecrypter, coz they do what I need.
