So, I have to burn some episodes of Naruto for my little brother, and want to fit as many onto a dvd as possible. He would be playing it on a chipped xbox no doubt. The files are mpeg format I think.
What would be the best way to do this? Best program? Im guessing a VCD would be better than a DVD as I could fit more on? I have a dvd burner.

Cheers

A VCD is a CD, capable of holding no more than approx. 75 minutes of video at roughly VHS quality. A standard DVD normally holds two hours - with compression they'll hold up to four without serious quality loss. If his XBox is "chipped," he should be able to play XviD or DivX-encoded files, in which case you could easily put 6-8 hours on a DVD-ROM with very little quality loss.

There is already a great deal of information in this forum about how to accomplish all these various tasks - before you go much further, you should re-read the forum rules to which you agreed, particularly 1, 1a and the second part of 12.

OK.
Im guessing they are AVIs cause they are downloaded from the net.
I really dont know anything about this stuff, I have tried reading this forum but it all seems rather confusing to me.
If someone could just tell me what program to use and what to burn it with, that would be great.

Now you have more forum rules reading to do. In three posts you have broken 1, 1a, 6, 8 and 12.

Not until you've read and understood the rules...
