Pinnacle Studio 9. How to make an uncompressed avi - help!

Hi everyone.

What is the setting in Studio 9 to have a .avi file not compressed?
I need this because I have to work with these files with other software and I want to compress only in the final stage.

Since this is the DV forum, I'm assuming your using Pinnacle Studio 9 to transfer your DV video from your digital camcorder to your computer.

If this is the case, the video is already compressed in the camcorder before it gets to your computer. The video is being transferred bit by bit to your computer. Studio 9 is not compressing it, it is only doing a 1:1 copy when "capturing" DV.

If you need an uncompressed video file, I'm sure Pinnacle can export the video using the uncompressed video codec (Huffyuv, ...) after you transfer the DV video to your computer.
