Converting FLAC to MP3 WITH tag transfer

Hi there,

currently, I have various music albums completely tagged in FLAC format, which I want to convert to smaller MP3 files, but without losing my well kept tags.
I know that ogg drop is able to do exactly this (read FLAC, convert it to another format with tags), but which tool to use for MP3 or other formats?
Remeber, converting to WAV as an intermediate step comes with a loss of all FLAC tags!?

After some effor setting it up, foobar2000 can do this.

I'd also recommend foobar. Additionally, isn't there a generic multi-format front-end by the author of oggdrop? Take a look around rarewares a bit.
