Reset capture settings

Using VDubMod 1.5.10.2. Switched capture format and Vdub locks when I go to capture. Any way to reset capture settings.

Try this way:

- Install VirtualVCR and enter preview mode
- without closing preview open VirtualDub and enter capture mode
- it should appear a box saying that the device is not available
- VirtualDub should open IN capture mode WITHOUT video signal input
- close virtualVCR
- the device is free: restore settings in VirtualDub

I used to have the same problem, and I solved in a similar way (I used VirtualDubMod to unlock VirtualDub.. :) )

Try to enter capture mode while holding down SHIFT.

tried both. didn't work. I can capture using VirtualDub 1.6.11, but I can't use ANY of the variants including vcr+sync or VDubMod

got it to work. Had to wait a minute while VdubMod locked. Then was able to change settings inside Video>Custom Format. The thing that is bothering me now is in 1.6.11 I can use YUY2 colorspace. In VDubMod I have to use RGB 24bit. I ame usng a Happauge bt878 chip with BTWincap. Anyone been able to use YUY2 in VDubMod?
