How does Video Sample Size affect a XviD encode?
Noticed the value when I checked file properties through Windows Explorer. Did not notice any setting for it within Gordian Knot or DGIndex. My encodes are 12bit while some other downloaded samples are 24bit.
Are there any serious/moderate implications for having a lower sample size?
Another question a little off the main topic, my target file size is 350MB, so to save space I transcoded the AC3 224 -> 128 thus giving 30MB back to the video stream. Are there any drawbacks with AC3 at lower bitrates?
