what is vlc,

I have a free pc game sold in a magazin , when i open it i can see 4 vlc files.

How do I convert that???

thanks, but how do you convert a vlc file to a prg file???

edit:Ok, got it,i needed deamon tool,...it is a file encoded with a software.
