I'm using nero 6 (free)
there´s no media which I can burn at 1x or 2x,
each time I insert the media Nero changes
the speed options to 4x/8x ONLY!!
If medias has a pre-set write speed,
then what medias accept 1x/2x?
Thanks

I'm curious why you're so adamant about burning at 1X or 2X - if your burner is 4X max that's one thing, but if both your burner and current media are at least 8X, why wouldn't you want to burn at 4X?
As discussed in your other thread about burning and media, you may need to upgrade to at least Nero 6 Enterprise Edition. Here's what I show with an 8X disk in a 16X burner with Enterprise:

With the free version that came with the drive I only had 4X and 8X available with the same media.

Everything indicates (see STICKY'S COMMENTS)
that low speeds guarantee more compatibility through desktop players.
Thanks

1) Note that the sticky FAQ is three years old. A lot has changed in the last year alone.
2) It has since been determined that too slow can be as bad if not worse than too fast. Max-speed burning usually only causes skipping, whereas underspeed can cause standalones to not read the disk at all.
If you really want to be able to burn at 1X or 2X, the only media I've found that still supports those speeds is the printable-top stuff. If you're having a problem burning 4X on 8X media with an 8X burner, I'd suggest trying different media.
I'm certainly not telling you you're wrong in attempting to burn at those speeds, I just hope you understand there are alternatives.

By turning OFF "Burn using NERO" in DVD Shrink and then using NERO to burn manually instead...

If you choose to use the DVD Shrink automatic NERO burn mode, you might want to check to see if NERO actually burns at the lower speed you selected in DVD Shrink, or if it's still burning at the maximum speed - based on actual time to burn (NOT indicated burn speed)...
Approximate times:
2x=30 minutes
4x=15 minutes
8x=7 1/2 minutes
16x=4 minutes
