Tried ripping disc 1 & 2 to my hard drive with Decrypter.When inserting disc get about 3 instant readerrors. I am assuming this has arcoos, iread your pdf file and how to get around this but failed when i tried to export PLS file i got nothing to export. Tried a heap of other programs that claimed to handle this with no result. Could it also be my liteon reader which is only a couple of weeks old? Did Madagascar before this with no problems with decrypter

Since this is a brand new release (by SONY), I'm fairly certain it will be discovered to have yet a new version of "ARccOS" copy protection, different than the one used on Season 4. the Season 4 copy protection, as I recall, took a week or two to be dealt with successfully using the freeware-only solutions...

I backed up Seinfeld Season 5 D1-4 & Season 6 D1 (R1) without any problems so far, although I suppose having AnyDVD helped. :D No special protection detected in the AnyDVD log.

Tried with Seinfeld season 5 disc 1 region code 2. Contains german, english, french soundtracks.

Used the plugin for PgcEdit (without any new updates for this DVD). No problems. :)

Although I'm not personally familiar with the PGCEdit and PlugIn setup, I believe the inability to read the .IFOs and .BUPs (which are never copy protected) has nothing to do with the copy protection...
