Hi,
Does anyone know if the codec compression data (the mime string that VirtualDub saves in .SetCompData() method when exporting settings to a .vcf file) depends, for a specific codec of course:
1. on the operating system's version (say XP, NT, 9x)?
2. on VirtualDub/VDubMod version?
I suppose that the data depends on the version of the codec, since it is codec-specific data, but I haven't figured a clear answer to the above two issues from my forum searches.
