Media player with dvd-menu support for mounted image directory

Is there any way to play a mounted dvd image file with full menu support, so I can choose items in the menus using my mouse or remote control? Mplayer can play mounted images, but there's no menu support. Xine has menu support for dvd:// (/dev/dvd/) but seemingly not for /mnt/dvd_image/. I haven't installed VLC yet. Can Kaffeine do it? (I can play the dvd in it.)

It should work with Xine:

xine dvd:/path_to_dvd_root/VIDEO_TS/

I use vlc. You simply navigate to the directory where your video ts and audio ts are located, and it will treat that just like it would treat a dvd.
