Burn .avi to dvd

Hello. I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed.
I was unable to find an answer using the search option.
I downloaded a movie and wish to burn to a dvd. I used Nero Express to make a copy. The video is ok but the audio is off about 10 - 15 secs. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. :thanks:
