Adjusting brightness in DIVx-Player

hi folks,
I've got a new problem.

I can't adjust brightness, contrast ... any more.

What have I done?

Any hints? Any Ideas? Plz help...

Two standard suggestions regarding any program that's lost it's functionality would be:

1) Uninstall and reinstall the problematic program

and, if that doesn't work and your OS is WinXP

2) Perform a System Restore back to the last time things were working properly

Well, I tried this. But it doesn't work!
