Hi there,

Just a question to the community, I saw that Nic added the pulldown functionality in QuEnc 0.60b, but I checked the source, everything concerning Pulldown is commented out.

So I was wondering, if QuEnc really applies a pulldown when checked ?! Did anybody tried it ? Or was it removed by Nic for a future dev ?!

:thanks:

it'd be cool if it did, but i'm pretty sure it doesn't just yet.

it'd definitely save on intermediate files when encoding NTSC film stuff.

not yet. possibly next version. when that is probably depends on when a certain someone sends me the undersizing source he has been promising for over 3 weeks now so i can do some tests.

unless Nic decides to sneak a release out first of course. ;)

I just spent an hour or two trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with quenc. :(
Any news on this being implemented? Or is there a way to apply pulldown to an mpg file (encoded with dvd mux profile) without demuxing and remuxing?
