noticeable pauses on playback!

ok my problem is as follows: when i have converted avi movies to vob files using winavi video converter and then burned them via dvd shrink and nero 6, when i play them back on standalone player there is a noticeable pause between scenes is there anything that i can do to resolve this?

Hi!

I think the first thing you have to do is determine whether the problem initially occurs after converting or after burning. Thgis will narrow down the things that have to be explored...

ok i checked playback on my pc b4 conversion and after conversion no signs of pauses but when played back on my playstation two i get the pauses so maybe the problem lies there guess i need to check on a normal dvd player.
