Used: RB-PRO 1.03 and CCE 2.67 (ECLCCE.exe 1.81).
First try: OPV with prediction.
second one: 2 pass (1 + 1 pass VBR).
3-click mode (encode phase managed by RB-Farm 1.7).
------------------------------------------------------------------
Files:

Rebuilder.log file (http://www.mytempdir.com/273368)
Rebuilder.inf file (http://www.mytempdir.com/273372)

------------------------------------------------------------------
ILVU section (VOB file):

0_VILVU.VOB (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PVFRW4AM)

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Playing this VOB file, we can see the following error message:

MPEG2Source: Couldn't open source file, or obsolete D2V file (Z:\D2VAVS\V03000300003002.avs, line6)

So, here is the V03000300003002.avs:

#------------------
# AVS File Created by DVD Rebuilder
# VOBID:03, CELLID:02
#------------------
LoadPlugin("C:\Arquivos de programas\DVD-RB PRO\DGDecode.dll")
mpeg2source("Z:\D2VAVS\V03.D2V")
trim(14262,14276)
ConvertToYUY2(interlaced=true)

and the V03.D2V (http://www.mytempdir.com/273406)

----------------------------------------------------------------------

When I playback the backed up DVD, I got the reported error on 2 first chapters only. The remains chapters are OK.

JD: What do you suggest to try solve this out ?

Thanks in advance,

When dealing with ILVU, OPV is not advisable.
Have you tried the Encode without RB Farm?

what dgdecode version are you using?

@Rockas

Yep, the RB reported this on process log, so I re-did all process using 2 PASS:

First try: OPV with prediction.
second one: 2 pass (1 + 1 pass VBR)..

The next try will be to do encode phase without using RB-Farm.

@jptheripper

In my avisynth's plugins folder I've the most new DGDecode, but RB is using the one that is bundled with the package:

#------------------
# AVS File Created by DVD Rebuilder
# VOBID:03, CELLID:02
#------------------
LoadPlugin("C:\Arquivos de programas\DVD-RB PRO\DGDecode.dll")
mpeg2source("Z:\D2VAVS\V03.D2V")
trim(14262,14276)
ConvertToYUY2(interlaced=true)

The interesting point is that in only this VOB section I got a failure on process (I mean that if was a DGDecode.dll issue, the remains VOBs would get a failure also, but this didn't happen).

@jptheripper & Rockas

Thanks to both for yours feedbacks.

@Danpos
As Rockas suggested, have you tried without RB Farm? AFAIK it does not support ILVU projects.

@SpazzHH

Good to know about this RB-Farm weakness. I'm running a full backup right now, using AQE 0.32.0.1 (alpha that SAPSTAR sent to me) in 3 pass (1 VAF + 2 pass VBR), QMatOp ON, 1-click mode, custom matrix for Extras.

After the process ending up, I will report the results.

Thanks for clarify me about RB-Farm. Much appreciated! :)

I used new AQE beta release doing 1 VAF + 1 VBR pass, QMatOp ON.

Really this release deserves a try. :)

Last but not least: RB-PRO and AQE Rocks! :cool:

Thanks to jdobbs and SAPSTAR for yours time and efforts employed on these great softwares.

Cheers,
