Do some reading in the Hardware players sub-forum - your answer can be found there or in some of the many links dedicated to various players and their abilities and compatibilities.

@s8n

Hi!

Most DL burners automatically perform "bitsetting" when they burn D/L DVD+Rs. In theory, this makes the burned DVD appear as a DVD-ROM (commercial, pressed DVD) to any DVD player. Since all DVD players bearing the DVD logo are required to read all commercial, pressed DVDs, theoretically they should read all such burned DVDs...

sweet ....... thanx guys for the info.....do u recommend i use to burn a DVD+R DL the ' How to burn Dual Layer Disks with PgcEdit ' tutorial (i found it on Doom9 forums) ?? or here..... http://www.videohelp.com/~r0lZ/pgcedit/third_party/blutach/dl_burning_with_pgcedit.htm ....

IMO, yes! But I'm not impartial! ;)
Anyway, as far as I know, burning with PgcEdit is currently the only easy solution to select yourself the layer break position (with preview), without the risk of making a coaster. But don't forget to use good +R media (TY, Verbatim...)
Good luck!

Based on my own personal experience and a multitude of postings at this forum and others, I'd strongly suggest that, presently, you should opt for the Verbatim-branded DL DVD+R media...
