I’m getting the following error from scenarist when it compiles the script created from scenaid.

Error "Video Track "VTS_1_001_t"" has only display mode for Subpicture Language "English". Please assign both Wide and Letterbox display mode to this subpicture stream, or create a different stream for .

It occurs during the script for creating the new menu. I realise that it’s because the L option for the subpicture subtitles hasn’t been selected in the script. If manually select it in the Track Editor then scenarist is happy and it compiles. The problem is it’s only created the new menu VOB because DoItFast4U and scenaid have closed due to the error in the script. I currently have NuMenu4u set to “import compile and close” should I be setting it to “Pause NuMenu4u and control scenarist manually”. If I do this and manually select the L option in the subpicture and compile it will DoItFast4U carry on and do the main movie.

Do i have something wrongly configured or is it a bug.

Using:-
DoItFast4U Version 1.4.7
NuMenu4u 2.0.23
Scenaid 1.7.0.7
BatchCCEWS 0.9.1.6n
Scenarist 3.0

I'm confused. You say its the scenaid script, then the numenu script. Please clarify which script is causing the error. If it is numenu then set it to 'control manually'. When scenarist has compiled then carry on as normal. I would like to see that scp aswell

Sorry if I was unclear, this is what happens.
Scenarist has a compile error stating “Scenarist has failed due to a script error; further actions have been cancelled”.
Scenaid has the Scenarist Automation Log window open. There is no obvious error message in this window. I then click ok to clear the Scenarist error message and the Scenarist Automation Log disappears.

NuMenu4u states “Compile not successful – import manually and run .bat file later”.The Overall progress bar is at about 90%. In NuMenu4u log window there are no errors. The last line states “creating scenarist script file is complete”. I then click ok on the error message and get “Something went wrong Aborting”.

I know the problem is caused by the letter box option not being set in the scenarist script file. However I’m not sure if that’s cause by Scenaid when it creates the script for scenarist or by the info it gets from NuMenu4u in order to create the script. Or have I lost the plot!

Thanks Zeul for the help how shall I send you the log files? I couldn’t see an attach file option in the PM section. Do you need anything else apart from the following files;

ScenaristScript30_1.SCP
ScenaristScript30_1_ERROR.txt
multiplex.log
layout.log

it sounds like it is NuMenu that has failed, and it is independant of Scenaid. The scp and _error are required. Please supply the numenu log also (make sure that enable log is turned ON in the options)
