I am using DVD Rebuilder 1.00 RC5 with newest CCE SP trial 2.70. I setup dvd rebuilder using the Doom 9 guide. I chose to keep everying but compress extras to 30% quality loss. I left the program on last night. When I woke up the progress bar said 100% but there was an error on screen:
Error in Updateifo:VTS_01 VOBID: 03/CELLID: 04 was not found in VOB
Then another message popped up:
Stop Statement encountered.
I ripped the all files in file mode with newest version of dvd decryptor, all settings at default (I wasn;t sure if there was anything I should change). I am trying to back up sopranos season 1 - d1 retail, which I own. Can anyone help me out? I did a google and found nothing. I also found no solution search doom9. I tried playing the dvd in windvd and it plays, menus work, and episodes 1,2,3 work, however when I tried the 4th and final episode it gave me an: media read error and a black screen.
Here rebuilder.log:

Probably the first thing you want to do is upgrade to the latest DVD-RB (1.03).

well I updated to 1.03 and I tried again and this time I came back to my computer to find an error in windows xp with the window that pops up that says this program has to close blah blah blah however I don't think cce ever got finished encoding the files so i did not get the updateifo error.

There is a problem in your ripping. It is probably an incorrect setting in DVD Decrypter. That message is telling you the source IFO is referencing some video that doesn't exist in the source VOB files...
You're not trying to remove angles with Decrypter are you?
Reset all the DVD Decrypter settings to default, and try ripping the disc again. Also, compare the VIDEO_TS directories of the original and the source directory... you'll likely see a difference.
Another possibility is ARCCOSS protection on the disc -- and you have DVD Decrypter set to "ignore errors"... you may want to try ripping with DVD Fab.

Ok however I have definitely run into another error. I updated to DR 1.03 but now when I get to end of stage II I keep get an error saying DR must close and if I want to send the problem to microsoft. It freezes me out of the program. Anyone know whats going on?

dr0833,
I get a similar problem. I've tried using a bunch of different encoders including Rejig and Procoder, and it gets like 99 percent done encoding, and I come back to find a message that says "DVD Rebuilder has encountered an error and needs to close". It will not go to the 'rebuild' stage of the process.
Oddly enough, it seems to get past the encoding stage to the rebuild stage when I use DVD-RB freeware version. Go figure.
Anyone know what's going on? I ripped using DVD Decrypter with default settings in file mode. I backup all my movies and just got Batman Begins but I can't back it up. Haven't tried any other movies with DVD-RB method since I just got it. Anyone have any other suggestions?

Here's some more information from the error dialogue I got. When it said "DVD Rebuilder has encountered and error and needs to close" I clicked on the link in the error box that said "more info" or something to that effect, and got this error signature information. Not sure if this helps or not:
AppName: Rebuilder.exe
AppVer: 1.0.0.300
Modname: Rebuilder.exe
Modver: 1.0.0.300
Offset: 000ead8a
And this is from the rebuilder.log file. For some reason, it's as if it finishes encoding and crashes when it tries to start the rebuild cycle. Which program does DVD-RB use to rebuild? Is it within RB itself, or is there another program which it works in conjuction with to rebuild the DVD? Anyway, here's the log file.

Did you use the Installer when you set up v1.03... this comment "I setup dvd rebuilder using the Doom 9 guide" make me think not.
Use the installer, leave all settings unchanged (don't change anything) and run the program... then post the results.

Sorry I am not actually a foreigner. Yes I set it up usin an installer.
And where did you get the Installer? Did you download it from the e-mail link you must have receive?
MPEG2DEC=C:\Program Files\DVD-RB PRO\MPEG2Dec3dg.dll
The Official Installer wouldn't point that path to MPEG2DEC3DG.DLL (I know that for sure... I made it :D) but to DGDecode.dll that is on Rebuilder's Installation folder (unless you changed it manually).
Please... run the Official Installer (you must have the link on the E-mail you got from jdobbs with your personalized download links) and leave everything as default... just don't forget to point the path to your CCE Executable and select the correct CCE version when the Encoder's Routine comes up.
keep it UP

I had this same problem trying to rebuild Star Wars Episode 3. After reading some of the advise in this post, I remembered having set DVDDecrypter to remove angles. I re-ripped and everything worked fine (well, except that I didn't check my free disk space first and it failed on rebuild because I only had 200Mb left, but that was my stupidity, it worked fine after I cleaned up a bit).
So if you are experiencing this error, double check that your ripper isn't stripping anything out.
