I did a quickish search and found quite a few queries about Telecined/Progressive NTSC content, but I couldn't find anything about a straight Interlaced/Progressive content, and also none that quite matched this scenario.
I'm trying to encode the Led Zepplin Remasters DVDs (PAL, R4), and they are partly interlaced, partly progressive. It doesn't follow and sort of pattern (apart from switching more times than is practical to note down). I'm an AviSynth newb, so what are the recommended ways to deal with these scenarios? Do I deinterlace the whole thing?
