How do you enable SMP Processing on an Athlon X2 4800+ using Procoder 2.04.02

Sorry for my English. I am not sure if I have post this message in the right place. If it is in the wrong place, please, move me to the right place.

I just brought a brand new dualcore Athlon X2 4800+. Installed WinXP Pro lite and I like to know how to enable SMP processing (enabling dual cpu processing) because when I encoded a 41 minutes xvid to VCD using Procoder v2.04.02, I am onlying getting 4.7 x realtime and Windows only use one cpu. One of my cpu utilisation is about 57%. The other is about 3% in Windows Task Manager.

Please, help.

It seems like this aplication suport dual-core cpu, so the problem is in your end probably. Do you have the latest version ?

I found SMPSeesaw from this forum.

SMP Seesaw is a small utility for dual-CPU workstations that allows the user to finely tune how Windows balances the processing load between the two CPUs.

I've read some where on this forum that you need to disable Cool 'N Quiet. So, I did that but my encode is still the same at 4.7 x realtime.

sounds like you should ask the company that took 600 bucks from you for some help;) And if you have the Express edition, there's no SMP support there.

TMPGenc Plus can max out the dualcore cpu both at 100%. The same encode job used to take 43 minutes on my old Athlon 3200+, now, it only takes less than 10 and a half minutes. Will try CCE over the weekend.
