WMV9 in MPC

Hello,
I have a problem with playing WMV9 video in MPC. The computer runs Win2k and I have WMP9 installed. I only have user privileges on this computer and I believe this is causing my problem. If I try to play WMV9 (other formats decoded by ffdshow work O.K.) in MPC I get following error:

The same movie plays fine in WMP9 and VLC, but doesen't play in WMP 6.4. WMP 6.4 is downloading a codec, but then it says I don't have a sound card (which is true) and won't start playing. All other movies play withou sound with no problems.

Do you have any idea how can I fix playing WMV9 in MPC?

If that doesnt work also install
http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/6/1/461e47d9-bff9-4d3f-b97c-93476581f6ef/wmp6cdcs.exe

(typically Windows Media Player will only install codecs on your computer when it is asked to do so by the media you try to open. These packages will pre-install them so other applications can use them.)
