I'm on the hunt for some examples of MPEG-2/DVD VOB samples with "angle" navigation!
I only have one example disc, or should I say "had" one example disc, which appears to have partially de-laminated itself :scared:
Anyway, if somebody can point me toward some test samples it would be much appreciated.
Many thanks guys

ALL of the Star Wars DVDs have multi-angle opening scrolls...

ALL of the Star Wars DVDs have multi-angle opening scrolls...The "angles" menu appears to be "locked-off" with all my PAL Star Wars DVD's.... In both hardware and software players

These are called "credit blocks". They are interleaved using non-seamless angles. Being credit blocks means that each PGC (for each credit language) can play only one of the angles. This is very much like multi-story, except the playback times of each path are identical. In order to select angles during playback they must be interleaved as seamless angles, and the PGC must declare them in a "cell block"
The DVD that accompanies DVD Demystified as examples of all 3 types of angles.

Thanks for the explanation mpucoder, that makes sense....
So my hunt continues for a short clip.... Can anyone oblige. Or even make an example?

You could go for a recent Studio Ghibli DVD, comes with a special disc that lets you switch with an half-animated storyboard thoughout the whole length of the movie via the angle button. It's intresting that the storyboard resembles most of the movements, and in sync too, kinda fun to watch.
But unfortunely, I don't have one laying around.....
