Stuttering Problem

I am trying to de-interlace and backup my orginal dvd set of He-Man animated series. I have tried to use decomb, leakerkernel, mvbob, TIVTC, and TDEINT to reencode the movie. IVTc and mvbob gave the best results, but the problem is that i get a lot of stuttering, when the movie zooms in or does horizontal scrolling.

It seems as if the orginal He-Man was shot with 8 frames a second. Does anybody have an idea of how to fully fix this or is it just not possible to do a full de-interlacing without getting stutters? Please check the vob sample that is attached, it is the orginal. The stuttering starts after the opening of He-Man is finished, when you get a sidescrolling of the landscape. Thanks in advance

Why don't you simply leave it as it is and encode as interlaced?

It's field-blended and that requires special handling if you want to decomb it. Do a search for "blended fields".

Stay interlaced if possible, as stated by Boulder.

I used fielddeinterlace(blend=false) with decomb. but it still skips frames. The reason why I want to deinterlace is that when the dvd is watched on my laptop in Powerdvd 6, Powerdvd doesnt exactly do a good job of deinterlacing and the suttutering effect is still there, as you can see with the sample. My goal is to eliminate all these issues from the original dvd so I can enjoy the series in its highest quality.

Then the only way is to try Restore24 and such. You cannot get rid of the stutter unless you can restore the original progressive content.

I'm sorry to say but it'll probably be nearly impossible. Toons can be a very tough case even for the most experienced people.
