Decrypted with Decrypter. Specified it to put rip into a folder on my second hard drive.

RB can't see the file. I just updated to new version of RB. It was working OK with old version.

I can't see the file with Windows Explorer. But I can find it with search.

It is listed there as an Easy CD Creator Image File. Thats a Roxio thing. Wazzup with that? I have Roxio but how did Decrypter make this file into a roxio type? I used Roxio Easy Creator earlier today.

I ripped with Decrypter as an ISO read. That was correct for RB encoding, right?

I started an IFO rip in DeCrypter. Will that work with RB?
Please help. Thx. Tom

DVD-RB will not read ISO files directly. If you rip to an ISO file, you must use another package like Daemon Tools (freeware) to mount the image. I use it all the time. The other alternative is to use DVD Decrypter in "File Mode".

Hi Carpo and jdobbs,

OK. That's a problem. I ripped in ISO mode.

I tried a rip in IFO mode last night before going to bed. This morning I see that RB sees that rip, but it doesn't look big enough. It's picking up Video Title Set 01 at 2.456MBytes. I expected that to be about 4 times that size.

Something looks wrong with this IFO rip.

I'll use file mode as you suggest anyway.

Thanks a bunch, Tom

Hmm wait.... I have Daemon tools. I haven't used it yet and don't know how to use it, but maybe I'll take a look at it. Is there much needed to be learned to use that program?
Cheers.

You shouldn't use IFO mode.... file mode.
