Hello, aside from setting the parameters of CCE within DVD-RB v0.96 (which I have), do I have to tweak or modify any settings in the CCE 2.70 trial software itself? If so what would be the optimal settings within CCE 2.70 trial software?

I assume that DVD-RB automatically tweaks the settings of the CCE software optimally. Is this the case?

Appreciate any suggestions, ideas, response.

Yes it is. RB takes care of everything itself. If you were to make settings changes within the CCE software, they would not be taken into account.

The CCE options dialog in DVD-RB will let you tweak the most important settings, in addition to DVD-RB adjusting the fundamental settings to ensure the output video parameters are correct for rebuilding. Which means it will work fine without you ever having to touch CCE yourself.

If you want to tweak optional CCE settings in order to try and increase the output quality, such as using CCE's video filters, then the RB-Opt tool will help you edit those settings for the batch of the CCE jobs DVD-RB has set up for encoding. This isn't necessary for most sources, and usually requires some trial and error testing to optimize, depending on the source.
