I'm having a problem with TMPGENc.

I am trying to encode an avi to a dvd.

The first time I did it i got an error message after 50% saying that it was unsupported. I then tried installing an ac3 codec. Then it only got to 18% and then gave an error message about fonts. Could somebody please assit me.

Too many possible reasons with the limited description you've provided. We'd be happy to help, but you have to help us as well ;)

In case you want to just convert a file into a DVD compliant MPEG2, download the last free version of VSO DivxToDVD . It's decent, and it is pretty forgiving about file problems.

I'm really sorry I couldn't be more specific about the error message. I pressed the okay button before making a proper record of what it said.

Or you could try using DVD2SVCD for doing the job. Despite the name, the program also does AVI->DVD-conversions and you can use TMPGEnc as the encoder.

i've done it with dvix to dvd but when I double click any of the ifo files it says windows cannot open it.

Any ideas.

this is the actual error message I get when when i'm converting avi to dvd invalid sample format. ( error code 0x80048002)

any one know what I need to do?
