Progressive PAL, captured from analogue cable-TV, using a Hauppauge PVR350 (hardware mpeg2 encoder):

Note the weird ghosting that is most noticable inside their faces. What on earth is it? And more important: what could I try using to clean it up? I've had this with all of my captures.
