So I've decided to replace my drive. Especially since even after cleaning it with the cleaning disc it still doesn't play the DVDs it burns correctly. I figure it's a couple years old now so it's time to replace it.

So I'm looking for a DVD burner that is mostly compatible with most media and doesn't have a big history of problems. Did a search on this forum and found a couple threads talking about DVD burners and this one caught my eye.

Anyone have any experience with it. Could anyone also recommend me other good possible solutions? Thank You.

BenQ 1640, NEC 3540, 4550 etc.

The CDFreaks forums are always a good place to look for this kinda thing.
