I got a thing for Christina Ricci...

I ripped with DVD Decrypter, like i always do, and demuxed with DGIndex like I always do to make clips. Now I have DGIndex set up to demux the audio to a .wav file so I can use VirtualDub-MPEG2 to do some audio alterations (I was having a problem with audio/video sync awhile back and this fixed it.)

Now when I open the AVISynth file with VirtualDub-MPEG2, the video has strange distortion. I get green horizontal lines covering the pictures, video overlay, and it jumps. This is the first time this has happened to me. I opened the synth file with VirtualDub and saw the same thing.

now, of course I tried to make a new synth file, but I got the same distortions, so I opened the ripped vob file itself, and it looked fine.

Anyone ever had this problem?

Please upload a small VOB fragment to my FTP site. It should be only as big as required to reproduce the problem. When the file is available, send me a PM.

The problem is not with the .vob file, but with the avisynth file i create from it. I opened the vob file itself and did not see the distortions.

Also, I am not sure how to fragment a vob file. I can make an .avi to show the problem is that would work?

Use ChopperXP or VobSplit. See the doom9 download page for VOB tools.

It's best if you give up the unprocessed VOB fragment and your Avisynth script.
